Jeddah hosts the Fifth Gulf Businesswomen Forum under the theme "Gulf Women: Between Empowerment and Leadership" next March 15

Under the patronage of His Royal Highness (HRH) Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of Makkah Province, the Fifth Gulf Businesswomen Forum 2023 and the accompanying exhibition under the theme "Gulf Women: Between Empowerment and Leadership" which be launched in Jeddah Governorate during the period as of 15/3 to 61-3. The Forum will be organized by the Federation of Chambers of the Gulf Cooperation Council, the Federation of Saudi Chambers, and the Jeddah Chamber with the participation of more than 500 persons from various Gulf and Arab countries.

During the media meeting held today at its headquarters in the presence of Sarah Ayed Al-Ayed, BOD member, Mr. Ramez Mansour Al Ghalib, Jeddah Chamber's secretary general, Mr. Suhail Bakr Altayar, CEO of Netaq Company for Organizing Exhibitions and Conferences, Dr. Louay Bakr Altayar, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Netaq Company for Organizing Exhibitions and Conferences, and Omar Alnahdi, the Director of Marketing of HONGQI Brand, the exclusive sponsor and broadcaster of the Forum, the Chamber indicated the topics to be discussed in the Forum, at the forefront of which are highlighting the businesswomen's efforts and initiatives in the GCC countries and acting to overcome the challenges they encounter therein.

During the media meeting, Dr. Louay Bakr Altayar, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Netaq Company for Organizing Exhibitions and Conferences, talked about many important topics included in the Forum, such as the Gulf women's role in the economic development, as well as topics relevant to investment and economics, and forming strategic partnerships among the businesswomen in the GCC countries, where he asked the Gulf businessmen, businesswomen and company owners to participate in, and attend the Forum.

In turn, Mrs. Sarah Ayed Al-Ayed, member of the Board of Directors of Jeddah Chamber, talked about the Jeddah Chamber’s participation in this event which will be launched in its fifth edition this year, where it constitutes a well-established Gulf, Arab and international platform for the Gulf businesswomen, based on keeping pace with the economic developments and transformations taking place in the GCC countries and the reflections thereof on the Gulf women as an active and influential partner in the growth and development process.

The Jeddah Chamber's secretary general, Ramez Mansour Al Ghalib, indicated that the Forum's events will last for two days, and aims to raise the Gulf women's level, particularly in the economic fields, by encouraging them to find mechanisms for development and modernization in the fields of production and business administration, where he indicated the importance of the Forum because it reviews the empowerment achieved to the women in various fields and highlights their active participation in the development renaissance experienced by them in the GCC countries.

Dr. Adeeb Ahmed Al Tayyar, Sales and Marketing VP at Yanbu Cement Company, touhed on the Saudis' successful investment experiences at the local, Gulf, and global level, where they made their mark on the economic map. Dr. Adeeb pointed out that the Gulf markets are promising markets, receive all support from their countries' leaders and are able to compete, where the future is reassuring and will experience more openness and a multiple investment opportunities in various fields.
