In the presence of contractors and real estate professionals, Jeddah Chamber hosted today a workshop on contractor participation in projects of PIF subsidiaries.

Jeddah Chamber hosted today a workshop entitled "Initiative to Enhance the Participation of Local Contractors in Projects of PIF Subsidiaries." The workshop was held in partnership with the National Committee for Contractors in the Federation of Saudi Chambers and the Public Investment Fund (PIF). It was attended by contractors and real estate professionals.

The workshop aimed to introduce the projects of PIF's subsidiary companies, facilitate registration mechanisms to learn about the projects, and explain the procedures for national contracting companies to participate in PIF projects. This is in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to increase the private sector's contribution to GDP. This approach will enhance the competitiveness of the construction and building services sector, increase its production capacity, and develop its capabilities.

Jeddah Chamber stressed the objectives of this workshop in showcasing the excellence of Saudi projects, which have proven their worth and ability to compete globally. The Chamber also highlighted its role in consolidating the elements of partnership and cooperation to serve the local contracting sector and enhance its presence and competitiveness in this field.

The contracting industry is deemed an integral part of the construction and building sector. The Saudi Contractors Authority is keen to promote and develop this industry, build outstanding production capabilities, and create a safe environment with global quality standards.
